New data from CISOs reveals which areas they will increase investments in 2021.

 

And cloud security (64%) was the top investment area.

Team8 is releasing the 2021 Cybersecurity Brief outlining the main themes, drivers, and implications that will be of critical importance to the industry in the next few years.

 

Team8 collaborated with their community of 350+ C-level security executives from 300 enterprises across 20 countries to find trends and perspectives on cloud security, security of things, perimeterless world, privacy & digital trust, resilience & recovery, smarter security.

 

In addition to spending more on cloud security, CISOs will also invest more in security automation (53%), identity and access management (52%), zero trust (47%), application security (45%), and security operations and incident response (45%).

 

The data reveals that CISOs plan to decrease investments in anti-malware (37%), infrastructure security (20%), network security (19%), remote access (16%), and risk and compliance (16%).
