DDoS Attacks Increase 40% Year on Year Confirms Corero Networks
The frequency of DDoS attacks have once again risen, this time by 40% year on year, Corero Network Security (LSE: CNS) – a leading provider of real-time DDoS defence solutions, has disclosed in its H1 Trends Report 2018 published today. While frequency has increased, the duration of attacks decreased with 77% lasting ten minutes or less, of which 63% last five minutes or less. Perhaps more concerning is that, having faced one attack, one in five organisations will be targeted again within 24 hours.
