Southern California Marketing Agency Wins Two Prestigious ‘ADDYs’ for Their Work with Youth and Local Workforce
Consortium Media’s campaigns were honored twice by the American Advertising Awards for creative work that was used to support vitally important causes.
VENTURA, CA, UNITED STATES, March 26, 2024 /EINPresswire.com/ — Each year the American Advertising Federation holds the American Advertising Awards (also known as “the ADDYs”), a multi-tiered national competition honoring work in a variety of categories. Currently the industry’s largest competition, winning an ADDY at any level is a sign of an agency’s creative and strategic success; Consortium Media and Public Relations, a Ventura, California-based brand development agency with a 33-year track record of social impact, won two ADDYs in this year’s competition.
The first award, in the category of Public Service Marketing, was for a wide-reaching campaign with the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Health called “It’s OK to not be OK,” normalizing Gen Z’s role in the conversation around mental health. Consortium Media’s dedication to youth advocacy and the child welfare system spans over two decades. They are passionate about shining a positive light on the children, families, and communities they serve, with a goal of replicating their local success on a much larger scale.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see our work honored for its creativity and high professional standards,” said Consortium Media Senior Vice President, Jennifer Curtis-Neves. “We’re proud of the reach that this campaign achieved because of how important this conversation is, not just locally but worldwide. Encouraging these kids to speak up about their mental health will quite literally save lives.”
The second award recognized their interactive online campaigns with the Workforce Development Board of Ventura County (WDBVC). Consortium’s work has helped residents of all ages, income levels, ethnic backgrounds, and career paths find jobs through WDBVC’s programs. In a post-pandemic economy, Consortium’s brand development efforts have empowered members of the community to access resources that have helped them launch, advance, and excel in their careers. In just the first year of working with Consortium, WDBVC saw the amount of job seekers visiting their job centers increase by over 50%!
