DETROIT, MI, USA, September 7, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — EVONOMY, the worldwide leader in Technical & Commercial services for Electrification, Artificial Intelligence, & Connectivity, announced that Anthony R. Giesey will join the company as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Automotive & Mobility. In this role, Mr. Giesey will lead worldwide operations and will report directly to the Board of Directors.

“EVONOMY fills an urgent need in many industries – especially Automotive – where OEMs spend significant resources to identify new technologies, vendors which offer them, and determining what are the optimal solutions that best meet their technical, commercial and timing needs. EVONOMY helps OEMs acquire this information in a fraction of the time using our world-class secure repository that is continuously updated with information provided by industry-leading vendors.”
Anthony R. Giesey – SVP of Automotive & Mobility

FOCUSED VISION

“We see Automotive companies facing the same challenges regarding Electrification, Artificial Intelligence, and Connectivity. Defining or updating their E/E architectures is not trivial, nor is migrating towards Zonal or Central Computing. Companies also need to identify if components exist or are planned which can support these architectural changes within the timing they need them – and at a cost point which their customers will bear. EVONOMY offers a complete range of Technical & Commercial services to assist companies with all of these tasks, ranging from Architecture Strategy, Functional & Performance Specification, Component Selection Recommendation (CSR), and Sales / Business Unit Support. The services EVONOMY offers help to expedite design cycles while also making feature requirements more transparent at each level of the supply chain.”
Anthony R. Giesey – SVP of Automotive & Mobility

Component Selection Recommendation (CSR) is the most subscribed EVONOMY service and intersects OEMs, Tier-1s, and component suppliers (e.g., modules, semiconductors). Using the CSR service, vendors provide EVONOMY product and roadmap information which is analyzed and processed into the EVONOMY repository. When EVONOMY receives new RFI / RFQ / RFP requests from OEMs or Tier-1s, EVONOMY leverages the repository to find the component which best meets the feature, projected performance, timing, and budgetary pricing goals requested. This unbiased approach creates fair and equal opportunities for all component suppliers, especially start-ups which are looking to enter the Automotive supply chain. Recommendations made to OEMs and Tier-1s are metric-based alongside a competitive assessment to showcase merits for selection. Accompanying all recommendations are introductions to the vendor contacts which helps to build organic customer / vendor relationships. Additional benefits of the CSR service include vendors receiving periodic updates from EVONOMY regarding the most common requirements requested from customers which will aid vendors in their roadmap development. Note – All disclosures made between EVONOMY and an end customer regarding vendor data require prior confirmation of an existing confidentiality agreement between the vendor and the end customer.

Prior to leading EVONOMY, Mr. Giesey served in Executive Director roles at Blaize and Ansys, Director roles at Marvell Semiconductor, Tier-1 & 2 roles at Alps Electric (now AlpsAlpine), and OEM roles at Chrysler Group LLC (now Stellantis). Mr. Giesey holds Master’s Degrees in Business Administration (Michigan Technological University) and Electrical Engineering (University of Michigan – Rackham) and is certified in Functional Safety & Six Sigma.
