Features include new third party security and cloud feature integrations; delivers cryptographic functionality allowing federal government deployment.
Safe-T® (Nasdaq, TASE:SFET), provider of software-defined access solutions for the hybrid cloud, today announced the release of Safe-T’s Secure Data Exchange (SDE) version 7.3. The release includes feature integrations such as on-premise malware analysis, anti-malware solutions, and Microsoft OneDrive cloud service compatibility, and is certified FIPS 140-2 compliant by Acumen Security. This certification of compliance allows federal agencies to deploy the product in order to secure their data exchanges.
The Acumen Security review confirmed that Safe-T’s Secure Data Exchange version 7.3 leverages cryptographic modules which are compliant with FIPS 140-2 directives. The cryptographic module provides all the cryptographic functionality for services such as secure session establishment, file at rest encryption, hashing, and authentication. Safe-T’s SDE solution protects the exchange of both inbound and outbound data and enables enterprise security teams the ability to broker, control, and secure data exchanges of any kind between people, organizations, apps, and even the cloud. It is designed to rapidly add security and control across a wide variety of data exchange patterns for enterprises of all types, in and out of the cloud. Being FIPS 140-2 compliant allows employees at the federal level to exchange data, protected by Safe-T’s SDE solution through email or the cloud, and know that it will fully be protected.
The release of Safe-T’s Secure Data Exchange version 7.3 includes integration with:
- Palo Alto WildFire: The industry’s most advanced analysis and prevention engine for highly evasive zero-day exploits and malware
- Votiro Disarmer: An anti malware solution that neutralizes exploit attempts before they’re disclosed
- Fortinet Fortisandbox: An anti-malware solution that augments existing security architecture by validating threats in a separate, secure environment using a combination of advanced detection, automated mitigation, and actionable insight
- OneDrive for Business: Microsoft’s cloud based data storage program
“We are very excited to announce not only these new feature integrations but also that Safe-T’s Secure Data Exchange version 7.3 is FIPS 140-2 compliant and can be deployed by federal agencies that are required to adhere to that regulation,” said Eitan Bremler, Co-founder and VP of Product at Safe-T, “Being compliant to this standard, in addition to all of the other regulations with which Safe-T is compliant, demonstrates our commitment to deliver the best product, while maintaining legal standards”.
